I grew up in a world where you simply didn't talk about your feelings. The unspoken rule was clear: suck it up, move on, and never burden anyone with your pain. That upbringing shaped me in ways I didn't understand until I began my own trauma training. As I studied EMDR and trauma therapy, I realized I had been carrying my own unprocessed trauma all along - the losses, the grief, the experiences I had pushed down instead of processing. Two people I loved deeply ended their lives by suicide. I've lost beloved animals. I've experienced betrayal, heartbreak, and the kind of grief that makes you question everything. These weren't abstract concepts in my training - they were my life. That personal journey transformed how I work with clients. I understood viscerally what it means to carry pain in your body, to be triggered by everyday moments, to feel like you're drowning in a room full of people. Through EMDR work on my own trauma targets, I experienced the profound healing that comes when the brain finally processes what it's been holding onto. That's why I'm so passionate about this work. I've lived it. I've healed through it. And I know it works because I've felt it work in my own nervous system.

Now, with over 13 years of clinical experience and hundreds of clients who have found relief and freedom through intensive EMDR work, I understand that we are all here to help each other heal.
