Intensive Therapy Retreats
More progress. Less waiting.
Dedicated, immersive therapy for people who are serious about change — and ready to do the work.
What Is an Intensive?
Therapy without the 50-minute constraint
Traditional outpatient therapy is built around weekly 50-minute sessions. That model works. But it was designed around scheduling convenience, not neurological reality. Trauma processing — real trauma processing — requires time, momentum, and depth that a weekly hour simply cannot provide.
An intensive removes that limitation. Over one to several dedicated days, we do focused, concentrated work with extended processing time. Clients regularly report accomplishing in three days what had taken a year of weekly sessions elsewhere.

"For some people, the intensive format isn't just more efficient — it's the only thing that finally worked."
Why Intensives Work
The difference in real terms
Traditional Weekly Therapy
— 50 minutes per session
— 7–14 days between sessions — momentum resets
— Significant time spent re-orienting each session
— Deep processing interrupted before completion
— Months to years for complex trauma
— Requires long-term scheduling commitment
Traditional Weekly Therapy
3–6+ hours of processing per day
Continuous momentum — no reset between sessions
More time for deep work, less for re-entry
Processing can reach completion within the retreat
Months of progress possible in days
One concentrated commitment, not ongoing scheduling
Format Options
Designed around your needs and schedule
1-Day Intensive
Single-Day Focus
Ideal for focused work on a specific issue, or as an adjunct to existing therapy. A full day of processing with preparation and integration built in.
2-3 Day Intensive
The Core Retreat
The most common format. Enough depth for significant trauma processing, with time to stabilize and integrate before you leave. Most clients report this as transformative.
Extended Intensive
Deep Work
For complex or developmental trauma, extended intensive formats allow for deeper processing across a longer arc. Designed collaboratively based on your specific history and goals.
All formats available in-person (Cave Junction, OR) and via telehealth for clients in Oregon, Florida, and Michigan.
